Music, Visual Tributes and Live Streaming

We are able to give advice on all aspects of music for the funeral service and make the necessary arrangements.

Music is such an important part of a funeral service; it often captures a moment, a feeling or sentiment, or prompts certain memories far better than words and we encourage families to think carefully about their music choices, be they religious or secular.  In most cases music will be downloaded by us or the venue of the funeral, but you are welcome to provide specific or unique tracks if you want.

Most crematorium chapels now have facilities for the displaying of photographs and visual tributes, which can provide an evocative moment of refection during a service.  A selection of family photographs can be set to a piece of music and edited into a slide show, or a single image can be displayed throughout.

Family and friends may find it difficult to attend a funeral due to personal circumstances or living a distance away.  In such cases, you may wish to consider making use of streaming services.  This will allow people to watch proceedings online and still feel as if they are paying their respects.

Poems, Readings and Eulogies

A friend or relative may wish to say a few words during a service about the person who has died. This is called a eulogy.

You can prepare a eulogy yourself or you may prefer a favourite poem or other reading.

Writing and giving a eulogy is a way of saying farewell to someone who has died.
